Forgotten Principle is a rock band hailing from the upstate of South Carolina. The band was founded in 2017 by drummer Luke Straub and lead guitarist Austin Coleman who bonded over their love for bands such as Green Day, My Chemical Romance, and Blink-182. Together with vocalist Kade Straub and former TSTF band members, the trio launched Forgotten Principle and was soon joined by bassist Layne Vaughn. From the moment they started making music, their journey began, and they have been described as talented, and charismatic, and a great live performance band. The band's music is honest and comes from the soul, with each member contributing their specific talents in perfect unison to create an absolute performance from the heart.
Humble Beginnings
Forgotten Principle is a group of passionate musicians from Woodruff, South Carolina who have made music their top priority. The band was formed in 2017, and they began playing at local parties and events, including the 2019 Gaffney Peach Festival. Despite the setback of COVID-19, the band did not let it impede their progress, and they continued to write and produce their own music during the pandemic. In December 2022, they released their debut EP "RVs & Broken Windows," which is now available on all music streaming platforms. Don't miss out on this opportunity to listen to their incredible music!
